I have yet to find a wedding proof book that I’m in love with so I’ve come up with the idea to create a custom designed proof box that fit 4×6 prints. That way, you can either store them  in this little keepsake box or find your favorite album and add the photos yourself. I think this is a new and fresh idea that is “angela madonia photography.” I’m always trying to think outside the box… or in this case, in.

Brides that book me after 2011 will get this new product. However, if you’re a bride that booked me before the new year, and absolutely DIE over it, we can work something out.

My dear friend Jodi is starting her own cake baking business. She’s new in the game but don’t let that fool you! I was roommates with Jodi at Syracuse and fortunately for me, she was always baking! She definitely has a knack and her food is delicious. If you don’t want to take out a small mortgage on a cake for your next event, consider Jodi… also she still hasn’t decided on a catchy name so any input would be greatly appreciated! http://sweetcakesbyjodi.blogspot.com/

This couple was one of the most laid back couples. If they were ever nervous during the day – it never showed. While I wish it had snowed to get some winter wonderland shots, it was still a beautiful december wedding/day! Congratulations!

Happy 2011!!! New and exciting things for angela madonia photography!
I recently took the plunge to upgrade my website and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The template I chose really compliments my logo and ‘look’ Im going for. I die over its simplicity. I also made new business cards and currently in the process of converting one of our rooms into an office/workspace. I re-designed my packages and now offer the option to buy the digital negatives (CD of images) for both weddings and portraits. I’ve also created a “baby’s first year package” which include photos from maternity, newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and one year old.

Stay tuned for more updates!

I went to high school with Sue so it was an honor to be a part of her and Matt’s day. They had a huuuge wedding party but they were definitely a fun bunch! Congratulations, again! Here is a little sneak…

I went to high school with Jill so when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was so excited that it would be on a more personal level. Another beautiful autumn day made for exceptional photo opportunities. Also, the ladybug was on her dress after the ceremony which we took to meant YEARS of good luck. Congratulations, Daryl and Jill!!!

Being a wedding photographer I get to capture tender moments during the day but one of my favorites is the father-daughter dance. It should be noted that I have yet to get through one without choking up. You could tell this bride and her father had a close relationship and it showed during their dance. Check out my favorite father-daughter dance TO DATE towards the end of the post. Congratulations, James and Nicole on your new life as a married couple!!

It was an absolute pleasure photographing this wedding! It was such a close-knit family as she had all of her nieces as bridesmaids. The walk from the church to the reception venue was led by a bagpiper and the girls all carried sunflower umbrellas to compliment their navy blue dresses. I wish you a lifetime of happiness, Mr. & Mrs. Devoy!!
